With the crypto market rally, the investor’s excitement is quite high, but for the Mantra fans, it has doubled as the team has officially confirmed the 50M OM airdrop. With this, the community of over 350,000 members will be able to participate in this massive Gendrop airdrop, where the NFT holders, stakers, and ecosystem active contributors are eligible to participate. The team has ensured the inclusion of multiple groups and a separate allocation for every group, simplifying the process for many. As each category has different eligibility criteria, this Gendrop airdrop will offer its participants equal opportunities.

The official MANTRA announcement states the OM airdrop confirms the distribution among 11 groups and 350,000 users. Out of this, the ones who participated in the KARMA Pre-Mainnet Quests will receive the biggest share. 60% of the total (30,000,000) airdrop is reserved for these, and around 124,758 addresses will have their share.

Here, the eligible users will receive their tokens from a pool containing 615,000 participants. The team further cleared users’ doubt about the limited addresses, claiming that ‘many might think that it is only a small percentage.’ However, they have analyzed that these 124,760 addresses collected  57% or more KARMA tokens, becoming the base of the criteria. More importantly, they are promised equitable distribution, and for that, the Mantra team has opted for Kurtotic Adjustment instead of the linear distribution methods.

Remaining OM Airdrop Airdrop Allocation

The second-highest allocation is reserved for the Galxe Season 1, where 12% of the total supply is reserved for 125,725. In this category, the user who has participated in the Galxe quest and has earned more than 215 points is eligible for the Gendrop airdrop. The higher the collected points, the higher the reward. Interestingly, they have also set another eligibility criteria for adding the EVM address.

Other than this, in list there is ATOM Staker to MANTRA Node (8%), Bad Kids NFTs (4%), Celestine Sloths NFTs (4%), Pudgy Penguins NFTs (3.5%), Testnet validators (3.5%), Mad Scientists NFTs (2.5%), Galxe Season 2 (1%), MANTRA NFTs (1%) and Bit Kids NFTs (0.5%).
